The test measures the connection from your browser and rates the result against everyday internet use cases.
What We Measure
Ping checks response time with small requests. Jitter measures how stable that latency is. Download and upload use sustained transfers to estimate throughput.
Loaded latency is measured while the download test is busy. The difference between idle ping and loaded ping is reported as bufferbloat, which often explains why calls or games lag even when raw speed looks good.
How To Get A Fair Result
For the cleanest result, pause large downloads, close streaming tabs, and test close to your router or over Ethernet.
Run more than one test at different times of day if you are diagnosing congestion or ISP routing issues.
